FG warns Nigerians against making provocative comments about government

—

The Nigerian government has given advice to its citizens, suggesting that they refrain from speaking negatively or causing disturbances that could reflect poorly on the government and incite opposition from the public.

This guidance aims to encourage individuals to promote harmony and avoid actions or statements that could undermine the government’s reputation or provoke dissent among the populace.

By advocating for responsible behavior and constructive engagement, the government seeks to foster a conducive environment for social cohesion and collective progress.

This advice came from Bello Matawalle, who is the Minister of State for Defence. The government thinks President Bola Tinubu is smart enough to deal with the country’s security problems.

According to Henshaw Ogubike, who works in the ministry and handles information and public relations, some people are talking without thinking because of the bad security situation in the country.

The government doesn’t like this because it can make things worse and lead to fighting.

The minister also said that the government has made plans to make the economy better and keep people safe. They want to make sure everyone’s life, freedom, and property are protected.

The president has told the military to be ready to do their job well, and the people in charge of security have been told to make sure the security forces are strong again.

Recently, the president said it’s a good idea to have a group made up of governors and other important people from different states to talk about how to make things better, like maybe having police in each state to stop crime.
