NEWS FLASH: ASUU Issues 14-Day Ultimatum to FG Over Unmet Demands

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has given the Federal Government 14 days to address its demands or face strike action.

At its NEC meeting in Abuja, ASUU President Prof. Chris Piwuna stated that the union would commence with a two-week warning strike before embarking on an indefinite one if the issues remain unresolved.

The demands include renegotiation of the 2009 agreement, revitalisation funding, payment of salary arrears, and a sustainable university funding framework.
