Bandits invade mosque in Kaduna, gun down worshippers

—

Two people were killed while they were praying on Friday in a place called Anguwar Makera in Birnin Gwari, Kaduna State.

It happened around 2 pm. The locals said some bandits, started shooting at the people who were praying in the mosque.

Hudu Kwasakwasa, who is a leader in the community, confirmed what happened. He said that two people were killed in the mosque, and others were taken away by the bandits. The two who died were buried afterward.

The attack happened when the people were in the middle of their prayers. Everyone got scared and ran away to save their lives.

This is not the first time the bandits have caused trouble in the area. A few days ago, they kidnapped nine people from another community nearby.

The community leader asked for help from the authorities because the bandits keep attacking without anyone stopping them.

This attack on the mosque happened just one day after the bandits kidnapped over 287 students in a nearby area called Chikun.

The government and the police haven’t said anything about the mosque attack yet. People have tried to contact the Police Public Relations Officer, but they haven’t been able to reach him.

Recently, there was an attack in Kaduna State that resulted in the loss of lives and properties. It was a very sad event where people were hurt, and things were damaged or destroyed.
