X To Restrict Unverified Users From Replying Posts

—

Twitter, now rebranded as X, has rolled out a new feature aimed at improving user experience.

Whatsapp And Telegram

Verified users can now control who can respond to their posts, a move intended to combat spambots and enhance engagement.

This means unverified users may not be allowed to reply posts.

Also, X has introduced a subscription-based model that comes with a price tag.

Android and iOS users will need to pay Rs 900 per month, while web users can access these features for Rs 650 monthly.

Premium subscribers will gain access to exclusive benefits, including the coveted blue verification tick, post editing capabilities, reduced advertisements, and extended post length.

Furthermore, subscribers can customize their profile picture with an NFT, utilize SMS-based two-factor authentication, send encrypted direct messages, and even choose to hide their blue verification checkmark.

In the pipeline, X plans to introduce additional features such as in-app payment functionality, voice calls, and video calls.

It’s expected that these new features will primarily be accessible to verified users.
