Whatsapp To Stop Working On Certain Phones Soon

—

WhatsApp plans to stop working on certain phone models because they are too old to support.

Starting this summer, phones from brands like Samsung, Motorola, Huawei, Apple, Sony, and LG won’t be able to use WhatsApp anymore.

Users should check if their phones are on the list of unsupported devices.

If they are, they might need to get a newer phone to keep using WhatsApp safely.

Some of the phones on the list are quite old, and even though they still work, WhatsApp will be compatible with them anymore.

WhatsApp suggests using the app on phones running Android 5.0 or newer, or iPhones with iOS 12 or newer.

Phones like Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus, Motorola Moto G, and older iPhone models like 5, 6, and SE are among those affected.

This change shows how quickly technology is evolving.

It is important for users to update their devices to keep using apps like WhatsApp.

One big concern is security.

Phones that no longer get updates from WhatsApp might become easier targets for hackers.

Users who do not upgrade might also find it hard to chat with friends and family who keep using WhatsApp.

Some people think tech companies should support older devices so everyone can use their apps.

But WhatsApp says supporting outdated phones could stop them from making new features for newer phones.

In short, if your phone is on the list, it might be time to think about getting a new one to keep using WhatsApp without any problems.
