Warri Wolves sacked 11 players to address the team’s poor performance and avoid relegation. Despite investing heavily in recruiting players at the start of the season, the team struggled to deliver results.
The decision to release these players was made by the club’s management to revitalize the team’s fortunes for the remainder of the season. Additionally, 19 players have been chosen to continue with the team in preparation for the second half of the Nigeria National League season.
