Zamfara Media Corporation plans to train 100 journalists from the state

The Zamfara State Media Corporation will pay for one hundred journalists from the state to get training at TV College Jos and FRCN Kaduna Training College.

The boss of Zamfara State Media Corporation, Alhaji Bello Abdullahi Gusau Bunun Jangebe, said this when he met with staff and students from the Mass Communication Department of Zamfara State College of Arts and Science (ZACAS) Gusau. They came to congratulate him on his new job.

Alhaji Bello Abdullahi Gusau explained that Mass Communication is about sharing information.

He thinks it’s important, so the Corporation wants to train one hundred journalists from the state to help them get better at their jobs.

He said they’ll learn about writing news, making presentations, producing content, advertising, and following the rules of the job.

These trainings are part of the state government’s efforts to improve broadcasting in the state.

He asked students to try hard to learn more about journalism by listening to the radio, reading newspapers, and going to important events.

He also thanked the college for supporting him and promised to keep working closely with them.

The Acting Managing Director of Zamfara Radio and Television Service, Malam Ma’azu Muhammad Bela, said this visit shows that there’s a good relationship between the Corporation and ZACAS Gusau.

He advised students to read newspapers, watch other radio and TV stations, and learn about the broadcasting industry to become good journalists in the future.

A journalist in the state, Comrade Jamilu Iliyasu Birnin Magaji, advised students to respect their teachers and focus on their studies for a better future. He also praised Alhaji Bello Abdullahi Gusau for his commitment to training journalists.

The Head of the Mass Communication Department, Malam Tukur Muhammad Janyau, said they came to support and congratulate Alhaji Bello Abdullahi Gusau on his new job. He said the appointment was well-deserved because of his experience in journalism.

During the visit, leaders of MACOSA Association ZACAS Gusau presented an Award of Excellence to Alhaji Bello Abdullahi Gusau on behalf of Mass Communication Students ZACAS Gusau chapter.

The visit was attended by the Director of Administration and the Finance Director of Zamfara Media Corporation, as well as many students from ZACAS Gusau.
