Canadian rapper Drake’s Toronto mansion is being investigated after a shooting incident. Police closed off the area around his property after someone was shot in the chest nearby.
The victim, not Drake, was seriously injured and taken to the hospital for surgery.
The shooting happened around 2:09 a.m. in Toronto’s Bridle Path neighborhood. The suspect escaped in a car, but there’s no description of them or the vehicle yet.
The investigation is ongoing. It’s not clear why the shooting happened, but it comes during a beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, who have been dissing each other in their music lately.
