Son of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Seyi Tinubu has urged Nigerians to endure the prevailing economic hardship being faced by Nigerians across the country.
Seyi, who said that for Nigeria to have a better future, enduring the trying time was necessary, added that the president’s recent tough decisions that led to the current hike in the cost of living should have been taken years ago.
He expressed hope for the future, stressing that although challenges persist, the nation’s outlook is promising.
The president’s son conveyed this message in a post he shared on his Instagram handle on Monday 19 February.
Using the hashtag #OurGenerationWillYieldTheFruitsOfThisHardship, Seyi Tinubu quoted his father, Bola Tinubu, saying, “There is no joy in seeing the people of this nation shoulder burdens that should have been shed years ago.
“I wish today’s difficulties did not exist. But we must endure if we are to reach the good side of our future.”
