During their visit, the Tinubus expressed their deep sympathy for the victims, acknowledging the immense challenges faced by the community as a result of the disaster.
In response to the pressing need for relief, the couple has partnered with the Noella Foundation, alongside various private sector collaborators, to mobilize substantial humanitarian assistance for the affected population.
This collaboration aims to ease the burden on the victims and provide much-needed support to help them rebuild their lives.
The relief package provided includes a significant donation of essential food and household items.
Among the contributions are 500 bags of 25kg rice, 1,000 cartons of spaghetti, 1,000 cartons of tomato paste, and 1,000 cartons of groundnut oil, among other essential supplies.
This gesture of generosity is intended to provide immediate relief and sustain the victims as they navigate the aftermath of the flood.
The Tinubus and their partners expressed their commitment to continuing their efforts to support flood-affected communities, not only through material donations but also by working with relevant authorities to ensure long-term recovery and rehabilitation.
