Mr Sampson Ngerebara, also a prominent APC chieftain and governorship aspirant in the 2023 general election described Awortu’s administration as a fulfillment of an Andoni of his dream where the people’s resources were channeled at rebuilding infrastructure and human capacity.

In his response, the Council Chairman, Awortu thanked the leaders for their continued support irrespective of political crisis in the state while also commending their loyalty to the FCT Minister Nyesom Wike.

The chairman also pledged commitment to the growth and development of the area adding that he will rather give up his second term bid than work with politicians whose actions in the past truncated the peace and development of the area.
