Plateau United’s coach, Mbwas Mangut, believes his team can do better after losing to Sunshine Stars.Â
The Peace Boys lost 3-1 at the Akure Township Stadium on Saturday. Mangut said the players didn’t score when they had the chance.
He said, “The league is like a long race. In the game, you saw only 60% of what we’ve been practicing.
“There’s still room for us to get better. Sunshine Stars used their chances well. We played according to our plan, but we didn’t score when we could.”
Plateau United has 41 points from 24 games in the NPFL.
