In an effort to help people in the country who are struggling with money problems, the representative for Fagge federal constituency, Barrister Mohammed Bello Shehu, gave out more than N10 million to women to help them start small businesses.
This is meant to ease the difficulties many are facing because of the current tough economic times.
During a special event held at Fagge Model Primary School in Kano, Barrister Shehu explained that the goal of this assistance is to help these women become financially independent.
He mentioned that 80 people from Fagge C ward and Rijiyar Lemo, including both women and men, would benefit from this support.
He reminded everyone that during his campaign, he promised to provide financial help to women and young people so they could start their own small businesses.
“As we pledged during our campaign that we will empower women and youths with finance to start up small scale businesses, today we are fulfilling that promise.”
Now, he’s fulfilling that promise by giving out amounts ranging from N100,000 to N200,000 to different beneficiaries.
Barrister Shehu encouraged those receiving the money to use it wisely to improve their lives and their families’ lives.
He expressed his hope that by next year, these beneficiaries would be able to help others in their community.
He also asked for blessings for their businesses and for more good things to come to Kano state and the entire country.
Additionally, he mentioned that by the end of March, other parts of Fagge Federal Constituency would also receive similar assistance.
In her speech, Zuwaira Abubakar Tarauni, the Women Leader of NNPP in Kano state, encouraged the beneficiaries to make the most of this opportunity.
She advised them to start small businesses so they can support themselves and their families. She emphasized the importance of not giving up on their dreams and continuing to work hard towards achieving them.
