Buhari Left Us a Bankrupt Country – Ribadu

—

The National Security Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Nuhu Ribadu has criticized the All Progressives Congress’ past administration under former President Muhammadu Buhari for the economic challenges experienced by the present administration.

The former EFCC boss revealed that the revenue generated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration has been used to settle debts created by the Buhari government.

Ribadu, who spoke during the Chief of Defence Annual Conference held in Abuja on Monday, acknowledged the constraints that have affected budgetary allocations. Nevertheless, he emphasized that the present administration is committed to ensuring enduring and viable defense management across the country.

Expanding on this, Ribadu admitted that the Tinubu-led administration is facing numerous financial challenges. However, he asserted that these challenges would not deter the government’s fervent commitment to addressing various security issues confronting the country. While calling on citizens to support the Armed Forces in the fight against insecurity, the security expert expressed hope that things would improve.
