Aisha Yesufu accuses Tinubu of manipulating his ascent to power to harm Nigerians

—

Rights activist and strong supporter of the Labour Party, Aisha Yesufu, recently made a statement accusing President Bola Tinubu of using unfair tactics to gain power and harm Nigerians.

Yesufu believes that under Tinubu’s leadership, Nigerians are facing even more difficulties than they did during the previous administration led by former President Muhammadu Buhari.

Yesufu shared her thoughts on a platform, expressing her concern that those in power, particularly those close to the president, are unaware of the hardships faced by ordinary Nigerians.

She highlighted the significant increase in poverty levels since Buhari’s time in office, suggesting that the situation has worsened under Tinubu’s leadership because, in her opinion, he manipulated the system to benefit himself rather than the people.

Yesufu pointed out that certain groups, such as those associated with the president and his allies, may not fully understand or appreciate the extent of the suffering experienced by the majority of Nigerians.

She criticized the perceived lack of empathy or accountability from those in positions of power, suggesting that they may overlook the struggles of ordinary citizens because they did not earn their positions through fair means.

Many Nigerians have been voicing their frustrations and concerns about the ongoing hardships in the country.

They feel let down by President Tinubu and his administration, blaming them for failing to implement effective economic policies that could alleviate the suffering of the people.

Aisha Yesufu believes that President Tinubu’s rise to power through alleged rigging has resulted in further hardship for Nigerians, with many feeling disillusioned and neglected by those in positions of authority.
