Zenith is on the privileged list of global finance

—

The World Finance 100 2023 list, published by World Finance Magazine, now includes Zenith Bank Plc.

It has accomplished the distinction of being the only Nigerian company on the coveted and exclusive listing thanks to the listing. The fact that Zenith Bank made the elite list highlights the bank’s exceptional accomplishments and tenacity in a cutthroat, international marketplace.

The World Finance 100 honours businesses that, in a wide range of industries, have achieved the highest level of success. World Finance creates a list of the top 100 firms every year solely on the basis of superiority in their respective fields.

The people on this list represent the new class of business elites, composed of visionaries and trailblazers who have shaped the way that business, finance, and technology are conceptualised.

Notably, amongst industry heavyweights like Apple, Amazon, and Alphabet, Zenith Bank is the only company from Nigeria and one of just three African businesses to secure a spot on this prestigious list for 2023.

Dr. Ebenezer Onyeagwu, the Group Managing Director and CEO of Zenith Bank, stated: “We are extremely proud of ourselves for being the only Nigerian company included in the World Finance 100 2023. This award is a reflection of our continuous expansion, inventive spirit, and unshakable commitment to our important stakeholders—all of which we were able to do in the face of difficult economic conditions. This recognition confirms our position as a preeminent financial organization that consistently sets the bar for sound corporate governance, strong financial performance, and stable finances.”
