American rapper Travis Scott, whose real name is Jacques Webster, has been arrested in Miami, Florida. The incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday morning.
According to court records obtained by Local 10 News, the “Astroworld” singer was taken into custody and booked on charges of “trespassing and disorderly intoxication.” These charges suggest that Scott entered a property without permission and was found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, behaving in a disruptive manner.
Scott posted a $650 bond for the trespassing charge and an additional $150 bond for the disorderly intoxication charge. This means he paid a total of $800 to secure his release.
He is expected to be released from the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center later today, once the necessary paperwork and procedures are completed. This incident adds to a series of legal troubles and controversies surrounding the rapper, who is well-known for his energetic performances and high-profile relationships.
