What great fall that was,
That made the Earth shiver with fear
And moments and time were forced to pause
As rivers dried and oceans shed their tears.
This was how the story started,
As told by the holy book of the Bible.
Demons, devils, Satan, and Lucifer parted
After a battle where Angel Michael, able,
Cast out evil, greed, and scorn,
Spite, deceit, and the man with two horns.
Once a singer, now the fallen,
One doing nothing but wandering,
And with deceitful intents took to learning
The heart of man, the tricks underneath,
And the reason why babies cried
When being brought forth into the physical world.
The Evil one knew he had to try
To pull Man down to a fall;
He entered into the pretty-tongued serpent
To speak with Eve—Adam was absent!
Woman, always ready to listen,
Fell into the nets set by the man of Evil.
After Eve ate the apple, he went into hiding,
The die being cast, waiting for the scene to unveil.
Eve’s eyes were opened—and now she could see!
The simplicity of Adam in his purest nature and nakedness,
Chasing the bulls and jumping the sycamore trees,
On wild bulls like wild monkeys with all eagerness.
How wide and open felt his spirits
After an apple Eve had bade him eat.
Lucifer, the Evil, as wise as the serpent and like a lion,
Predator, wanting and hungry for prey.
But with my eyes, I look onto Zion,
With my knees on the floor, I shall go down to pray.
I shall pray unto the Father,
Holy Spirit, and unto the Son.
I shall offer Him my prayers
When I wake up to see the sun.
I give thanks in the morning
And when the moon is due to come.
