Spotify Experiences Temporary Outage Affecting Thousands of Users in the U.S

—

Spotify on Sunday faced an outage that disrupted services for over 40,000 users in the United States.
The interruption, which lasted for about three hours, left many users unable to stream new content, with some experiencing problems loading playlists and music abruptly stopping.
According to the outage tracker Downdetector, the issue peaked with 40,515 users affected.
However, by 3 p.m. ET, the situation had significantly improved, with fewer than 600 users still encountering problems.
Spotify acknowledged the incident via social media, assuring users, “Everything’s looking much better now!” However, the company did not provide an immediate explanation for the disruption.
Despite this, Spotify continues to experience growth, with its paying subscriber base reaching 246 million in the second quarter of this year.
