Sokoto Assembly urges Governor to extend Ramadan feeding to all 23 LGAs

—

During a recent meeting, the 10th Sokoto House of Assembly made a request to Governor Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto.

They asked him to make some changes to the Ramadan feeding program. Right now, the feeding centers are only in the city, but they want them in all 23 areas of the state.

This idea came up during the meeting when the Speaker of the House, Tukur Bala Bodinga, and another member named Bashir Isah Jabo talked about it.

They said it would be a good idea to help more people during Ramadan. Kabiru Dauda from Gada East also agreed, saying it’s important because many people are struggling financially right now.

Everyone in the House agreed with the idea when they talked about it during the meeting. They think it’s important to help as many people as possible, especially during Ramadan when many people don’t have much to eat after fasting.

Expanding the feeding program to all 23 areas of the state would make it easier for more people to get food.

This is important because right now, many people don’t have anything to eat when they break their fast.

The House believes that if the government agrees to do this, it would be fulfilling its duty to take care of its citizens.

It would also help reduce the number of people who have to depend on others for food, which could help reduce crime in the state.
