Niger State Governor Umar Bago has donated a brand new 35-seater bus to Niger Tornadoes ahead of the 2024-25 season, as announced by the club.
On their social media page, the club stated:
“In a significant boost to the team’s logistics, the Niger State Government, led by Governor Umar Bago, has generously donated a new 35-seater TATA Marcopolo bus to Niger Tornadoes FC. This gesture aims to facilitate the team’s travel arrangements across the country as the Nigeria Premier Football League season approaches.
During a ceremony at the Government House in Minna, the keys to the bus were formally handed over to Engr. Ibrahim Dada FNSE, Chairman of the Niger Tornadoes Management Committee. This thoughtful contribution from the state government is expected to enhance the team’s mobility and comfort during their travels.”
Last season, the Ikon Allah men avoided relegation, finishing in fourteenth place with 51 points.
