The Director General (DG) of the North East Development Commission (NEDC) paid a visit to the victims of the recent suicide bombing in Gwoza, who are currently receiving treatment at the Maiduguri Specialist Hospital.

According to Sources the devastating attack resulted in numerous injuries and claimed the lives of 32 people.

During his visit on Tuesday, the DG pledged full support to the victims, ensuring that they receive the necessary care and assistance to aid their recovery.

He emphasized the commission’s dedication to alleviating the suffering of those impacted by the ongoing insurgency in the region.

Expressing his heartfelt sympathy to the families of the deceased, the DG offered prayers for the souls of those who lost their lives in the attack.
