13-year-old comedian Emmanuella Samuel, known as Emmanuella from her performances on Mark Angel’s YouTube channel, has sparked controversy among internet users, over a video of herself dancing in a black fitted dress with high slits and a low neckline.
The video which shows her dancing and cat-walking has sparked various opinions on social media.
While some expressed concern and emphasized the need to caution her due to her age, others had contrasting views on social media norms, with comparisons to reactions in different cultural contexts, such as America.
Emmanuella’s uncle and guardian eventually took to Instagram to address the issue.
