Super Eagles shot-stopper Francis Uzoho has tendered his heartfelt apology after responding to critics who blasted him for making consistent errors during Eagles International friendly games against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique a few days ago.
Uzoho couldn’t hold the criticism any more and responded to his critics on Snapchat saying “If e easy, do am make Oyibo man sign you”. Uzoho has now retracted his statement and made a public apology on his official X account.
The Omania number one admitted to having acted unprofessionally, especially to his loyal fans:
“It has come to my attention that my recent Snapchat has not been my best behavior towards you all as my loyal fans. I apologize for this, as it was not my intention to conduct myself in such a manner towards the fans who have supported and motivated me throughout my career”.
“Accepting criticism is part of my job and one that I often welcome from people who continue to support me. I accept your criticisms with the utmost respect and understanding that you all want me to do better.
“I want you all to know that I continue to grow daily as a person and in my career and you all are a vital part of my growth and success. My actions are aimed to reflect this and will continue to do so.”
Uzoho, 24, who plays for Cypriot first division side Omania rose to the level of first choice since Jose Peseiro took over the head coach role.
