BREAKING: Bandits Abduct Farmers in Sokoto Hours Before Governor’s Visit

Armed bandits on Thursday kidnapped several farmers in Isa Local Government Area of Sokoto State, barely hours before Governor Ahmad Aliyu was due to visit the community.

The News Chronicle gathered that the governor’s visit was scheduled as part of efforts to commiserate with residents over earlier bandit attacks in the area.
