FA CUP: Liverpool eliminates Arsenal following a pristine victory at the Emirate

Liverpool crashed out Arsenal from the English FA Cup following a 0-2 full time result at the Emirates Stadium. Jakub Kiwior’s and Diaz’s late goals helped Liverpool avoid a replay that could have occurred should the game have ended in a draw. Liverpool will proceed to the next round after successfully going beyond the third round. 

First Half:

Resilience, Arsenal appeared deadly in attacking and possession retention against their visitors Liverpool after the first half. Despite a barren draw after the first half, Arsenal were ahead on possession with 53% against 47% Liverpool had. The Gunners had 13 shots on goal, of which 5 were on target. The Poor Liverpool side had 2 shots, with none on target.

Second Half:

Arsenal’s threat over Liverpool continued, In the 74th minute, Arsenal continued to roar with ball possession of 53% over Liverpool who maintained 47%. Liverpool at this time had made 5 goals attempt with one being on target while Arsenal had 4 and none was on target. Unfortunately, for Arsenal and Arteta yet again as Jakub Kiwior headed Trent’s cross behind his goalkeeper to give Liverpool the lead in the 80th minute. Liverpool weren’t done yet after Diaz scored in the extra time to extend Liverpool’s lead to 2-0 at full-time.
