The National Assembly precinct resembles a heavily secured zone as operatives of the Department of State Security (DSS) have taken control, this morning.
The move comes amidst rumors of a potential impeachment attempt against Senate President Godswill Akpabio, reportedly driven by discontent among some northern senators.
DSS officers, dressed in dark suits and sunglasses, were seen stationed at all entrances, from the main gate to inside the premises.
