Delta 2023: Soludo’s Victory Mantle Is On Me- Governorship Hopeful, Gbagi

A frontline governorship hopeful in Delta state, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi has said the best of interest that played out for the Governor-elect of Anambra state, Prof. Charles Soludo, will be his lot during the governorship race of the state in 2023.

Gbaji gave hope when he visited the State Working Committee (SWC) of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Asaba, Delta State Capital.

According to him, despite the vote-buying and the ‘might is right’ of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the will of the Anambra people prevailed.

He said the will of the people who smiled on Soludo during the just concluded governorship election in Anambra state has rested on him as an unblemished industrialist.

”In Anambra state, the people rejected the money.

“They shunned vote-buying and the supposed federal might but chose the best material for the job.

“The days of cover-up for anointed candidate have gone with the birth of the social media.

“As an astute entrepreneur who will build on the developmental strides of the incumbent, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Soludo’s portion will be my lot in 2023,” he enthused.

Gbagi took a swipe on the APC-led central government for plunging Nigeria into an economic quagmire.

He said the rating of the APC government on the ruins in Nigeria by the American government, has scored the current central government low.

The Delta governorship aspirant urged the state’s PDP executives to allow for a level playing ground for the best candidate to emerge.

Responding, the state chairman of the party, Barr Kingsley Esiso, supported by his executives, said they will remain as an unbiased umpire as the contest builds up.

”We will give a very equitable platform to all the aspirants to contest and win to fly the flag of the party for the 270 wards of the state,” he assured.
