Chadian security forces stopped an attack on the presidential palace in N’Djamena by Boko Haram militants on Wednesday night.
A video circulating on social media shows security forces responding to the attackers, with several militants shot and others captured.
According to intelligence sources cited by Zagazola Makama, the situation was quickly brought under control by the Directorate General of Security Services and Internal Exile (DGSSIE).
Their rapid response neutralized the threat and ensured the safety of key government officials and institutions.
Authorities have not yet provided detailed information on casualties. However, reports indicate that some attackers were captured alive, which could help provide critical intelligence for future counterterrorism efforts.
Security measures have been tightened in recent days, including a temporary network shutdown to prevent potential breaches.
