The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has been honored by the National SERVICOM Office under the Presidency for its outstanding performance in delivering efficient services in 2024.
The recognition came after a comprehensive evaluation of NEMA’s achievements, particularly its timely and effective implementation of the 2024 annual work plan.
In presenting the award, SERVICOM commended NEMA’s dedication to improving the lives of Nigerians through quality service delivery and its efforts to strengthen the connection between the government and citizens.
The award was delivered by the Director of Special Duties, Hajiya Fatima Suleiman Kasim, to NEMA’s Director General, Mrs. Zubaida Umar.
Hajiya Kasim congratulated the Director General for her leadership in achieving the agency’s success.
In her response, Mrs. Umar expressed gratitude for the recognition and dedicated the award to the entire NEMA team for their collective hard work and commitment.
Additionally, SERVICOM recognized NEMA staff member Mrs. Tabitha Helen Jock as the Best Performing Desk Officer under Team A of the Parastatal SERVICOM Unit (PSU), further showcasing the agency’s focus on excellence in service delivery.
