A Tribute in Honour of a Worthy Comrade, Sir J C Nwosa

—

Life is all about our relationship with our Creator, God, and then our contributions towards the development of human society. Whoever meets these two important requirements has done well both spiritually and materially no matter anyone else’s grading or insinuations.

It’s true that everyone was shocked when the news of the demise of Sir J C Nwosa dropped, but looking at his commitment to duty, his achievements and his efforts to enhance human resources development, we will have every reason to thank GOD for his life.

A diligent teacher, a wizard in teaching Physics and a renowned Church man, Sir J C positively impacted many lives during his life time. It is on record that it was during his tenure that our school which had been in coma for years came back to active life. Even without counting his immense contributions in other areas of his service to GOD and humanity, his time as principal in Boys’ Secondary School, Oraifite (the popular Oraifite Grammar School) has put him in a great hall of honour in human history.

As we mourn his departure to the world beyond, we take solace in the fact that he lived an impactful life as a sojourner in this provisory life of struggles. On behalf of our school Proprietor, The Rt Revd Ndubuisi Chukwuka Obi, the school Board Of Governors, staff and students, as well as PTA of our school, we humbly bid you fare well.

Good night, Sir J C. Rest in peace forever.

Ven Charles Nnaemeka, Ph.D. Principal BSS Oraifite.
