We Celebrate A Woman!

In thanksgiving we celebrate a woman, a womb that incubated five plus one, nurtured five, while one too early went to the very source that outsourced him to her.

We celebrate a woman, who isn’t just a woman but one that stood behind a man that made her and the five visible and enviable.

Though gone to that source that outsourced him to us and humanity, his aura, his impact and the fragrance of his diligence, discipline, love and affection makes our life glow and glitter.

We celebrate a woman, who is not just a woman, but one that shields and covers many under her wings of good heart, compassion, and generosity.

We celebrate a woman, whose leadership qualities, commitment and devotion to godly things are endearing.

Beyond the perceivables, deeper than what mind can conceive and what eyes can see, this woman remains an engima.

Her life isn’t a one off story. In series it comes, with suspense. When one thinks is about to end and the curtain falls, boom! Another twist is crafted, making the entire storyline a wonder, a mavel, stunning hearts and making the faithfulness of God very profound in her life.

We celebrate her today, the five and those that she touched positively who sincerely appreciate her values, worth and God’s grace upon her life.

She lives by grace and on the wings of grace her life spoars, even when it looks feeble, weak and failing from the grace store she gains momentum, striving and thriving amidst challenges.

We celebrate a woman who have seen it all. A great manager of home. A wonder worker with scarce resources, a multiplier and saver of situations from the reservoir of her frugality.

80 years isn’t a walk in the park. It isn’t a tea party and surely not by power of strength of any man, but in the mercy and benevolence of God she climbed this enviable eight floor.

Watching her climb the floors of her life, the ones very clear and distinct to our mind, one thing keeps re- echoing, life is transient, it goes down each day, it diminishes each moment, as days dawn, the energy and vibrancy of life dusk.

As it dawns and dusks, celebrate them at will, give thanks without holding back, be close to your source and allow His presence to define your presence of mind.

With this life becomes good even in a seeming turbulent situation.

To you our mother, grandmother, our mother in-law, to you our friend, our aunty etc Mrs Angelina Adimnankaru Opara we celebrate your 80th birthday. Eighty still elegant.

We celebrate the grace of God on your life. We celebrate your years of your rod that fashioned us. We celebrate your voice of reprimand and scolding which really shaped us for good.

We celebrate your doggedness and staying power amidst the vicissitudes of life.

We celebrate your devotion and your daily supplications to God for your beloved ones.

We celebrate all that you represent in our life. This is us saying thank you for nurturing us, rocking our cradle and making us who we are today.

The road was bumpy, the terrain slippery and the weather foggy sometimes; but by God’s grace you and our Dad who is resting peacefuly drove us to a safe harbour.

Indeed you are beyond blemish.
