Victor Osimhen shortlisted for Best FIFA Men’s Player of the Year

Nigerian and Napoli forward Victor Osimhen has been shortlisted for the Best Fifa Men’s Player of the Year award.

The Napoli talisman along with his teammate Khvicha Kvaratskhelia are set to battle ten other players for the award.

Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, who played for Inter last season before joining Al Nassr in Saudi, is another representative from the Serie A.

From England, Manchester City players dominated the 12-man list making 6 players with Gundogan who joined Barcelona as a free agent during the summer.

Declan Rice, who played with Westham before, making the mega deal this summer to Arsenal, was also shortlisted from England.

Former teammates at PSG Kylian Mbappé and Lionel Messi were shortlisted from the French Ligue, meanwhile, Messi departed the club for the MLS this summer.
