Nigerian singer and songwriter Spyro, also known as Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, recently had a great time hanging out with his idol and senior colleague, 2Baba.Â
Spyro, famous for his hit songs, shared a video of their meeting at a nice restaurant on social media. He described 2Baba, whose real name is Innocent Idibia, as his mentor, mentioning how he grew up admiring him.
Spyro even shared a funny story about almost getting in trouble for sneaking out of school to buy 2Baba’s second solo album, “Grass 2 Grace.”
In the video, Spyro expresses his joy at meeting his mentor, saying, “Na who fuck up, give up,” and thanking God for the opportunity. He reminisces about learning from 2Baba as a kid and how his admiration for him led to some mischievous adventures.
