Singer, Flavour Lays Father to Rest

Popular Nigerian high-life singer, Chinedu Okoli, professionally known as Flavour N’abania, has bid his final goodbyes to his late father, Benjamin Onyemaechi Okoli in Umunze, Anambra state.

In an Instagram post on Saturday, 8 June, the music icon shared a video captioning it, “O RUO N’OMUME. KA ANYI DUO ODOGWU IJE Translated to mean; “The time has come. Let us bid farewell to the hero”).

The funeral was attended by renowned celebrities, including Peter Obi, Phyno, and Cubana Chief, Obi Cubana, and Odumeje

Earlier, Flavour’s wife, Sandra Okagbue, a former beauty queen, took to Instagram to pay her respects to her father-in-law.

Sandra wrote, “Today, we gather not in sorrow, but in celebration of the life of a remarkable man who will always be an icon to many. Farewell, my father-in-law, Pa Benjamin Okoli.”

Recall that the Baby Okwu crooner announced his father’s passing on Facebook and Twitter on May 22nd, sharing an emotional video.
