Ruger and BNXN finally make up, fans react

It’s true that peace is the only way forward! Long time rivals finally made up.

It seems harmony has been restored between Ruger and BNXN.

Over the past couple of years, Nigerian music sensations Ruger and BNXN have been engaged in a public feud, exchanging heated words on various social media platforms.

In a recent turn of events, signs of reconciliation have emerged as Ruger shared a photo on his social media page, showing the two artists together, seemingly collaborating on a music video shoot.

This unexpected development has sparked excitement among fans who have been eagerly awaiting news of their reconciliation after nearly two years of discord.

The rift between Ruger and BNXN began in 2022 following a Twitter exchange initiated by a user who compared their respective hit songs. This escalated into a series of confrontations on Twitter, with both artists boasting about their individual successes in terms of wealth and chart-topping tracks.

Their rivalry was further fueled when both artists were nominated in the Next Rated category at the 2022 Headies Awards. Despite the tension, BNXN extended an olive branch during his acceptance speech, expressing his admiration for Ruger.

While there has been no official announcement of a collaboration between the two, fans are eagerly anticipating the possibility of witnessing a joint project from two of Afrobeats’ most talented artists.

The significance of their reconciliation goes beyond mere personal differences. It exemplifies the importance of resolving conflicts and fostering unity within the music industry, ultimately promoting peace and collaboration among artists for the betterment of the genre and its audience.
