President Tinubu Appoints New Customs Comptroller General

President Bola Tinubu has given his nod to the appointment of Adewale Adeniyi as the new Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service.

This significant decision was officially announced by Mr. Willie Bassey, the Director of Information at the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, in a statement released on Friday in Abuja.

Adeniyi’s selection is seen as a strategic move to leverage his wealth of experience in the role.

His official tenure commenced on October 19, aligning with the existing provisions of the Public Service Rules. President Tinubu’s directive underscores the importance of Adeniyi’s contribution to the vital functions of the Nigeria Customs Service.
