Prelate Says Practice of LGBTQ Abominable, Hails FG for Rejecting it

The Founder, Leader, and Arch-Bishop of Living Christ Mission Inc., Most Rev. Professor Daddy Hezekiah says the Federal Government’s unfavorable stance towards the practice of Lesbianism, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer, LGBTQ in Nigeria, deserves commendation by all lovers of God.

The prelate is insistent that LGBTQ practices are immoral, abominable, and highly destructive.

Archbishop Hezekiah who was speaking at the Church’s administrative headquarters in Onitsha, Anambra State over the weekend, said the practices run in contrast with the teachings of Christ and the Church.

He also posited that the African culture also prohibits such practices, as it has never been heard that any tribe practiced such.

According to Daddy Hezekiah, the Federal Government has done nobly by not recognizing the practices that are pervading developed nations of the world with their ravages.

“As a church, we are solidly behind the Federal Government in this stance, because we believe these LGBTQ practices are anti-human, satanic, and destructive.

“The message of Christ is clear as to how marriages should be conducted- between a man and a woman. Any other stipulation or coloration of the union is satanic and ultimately fashioned to alter God’s precepts.

”We as a church condemn such and we want to encourage the Federal Government to continue to repel any tactics aimed at cajoling, coercing or persuading her to endorse treaties on such practices or domesticate same in Nigeria.

“Nigerians abhor such,” he said.

Daddy Hezekiah also urged the Federal Government to intensify efforts at combating insecurity across the country.

According to him, the insecurity in the land is becoming a source of serious concern to the average Nigerian.

He also appealed to the Federal government to reconsider the issue of the removal of the Petroleum subsidy, as according to him, many Nigerians are suffering due to the removal.

Daddy Hezekiah said; “The removal of the Petroleum subsidy by the government has a devastating impact on the masses,  including civil servants whose salaries have remained stagnant.

“The decision has led to an unbearable increase in the prices of essential goods and services, including foodstuffs, transportation, other commodities, and exchange rates for the Dollar and other currencies.

“If the subsidy removal on petrol and electricity must remain, then adequate measures must be taken to mitigate the adverse effects, as it is the masses that suffer the adverse effect.”
