Alarmed by the predicament she finds herself in, a Nigerian woman has taken to the public to detail how she has allegedly been through ‘hell’ in her marriage.
In a post shared on Facebook by social influencer Fegor Chime, the woman who preferred anonymity, said since she stopped working, her husband has refused to properly take care of her.
She explained that the man doesn’t give her money for upkeep. She’s now looking for a way to cater for her needs so as to shame her husband.
She wrote:
My husband has sworn that I will never work and I have been respecting him but not anymore..this man has showed me hell simply because I’m no longer working..before I met him I’m working and I’m the one who is solely talking care of myself, my mum and my siblings…infact I was the breadwinner in my family…I stopped working because I needed to come back and stay with him in his base.
I used all my savings to furnish our apartment and since then I have nothing doing…I’m broke to an extent that i can’t afford #100 to buy shaving bic…he doesn’t give me any kobo apart from the one he gives me for cooking which is 2k for a pot of soup that will last us for 2/3 days…but this is a guy I send money back to back when i was working…I’m a TTC mum but pls I seriously need something doing.
I’m not a graduate.. I stopped in secondary school…I can read and write very well and I have worked in so many places both in the east and in the west..so I have so many work experience…pls help a sister because the insult is much..imagine my husband dumping me for my struggling mum without giving me a dime…my mum is now the one feeding me when I’m not a lazy person…
