It is truly sad that Beyonce’s community went against her because of a change they feel is not going down with them. BeyoncĂ©’s mother and manager, Tina Knowles, has defended her daughter on social media against those who accuse her of bleaching her skin. The allegations are based on a recent video that BeyoncĂ© released during the world premiere of her movie “Renaissance: A Film by BeyoncĂ©,” in which she can be seen sporting paler skin.
One thing Ms Tina will always do is defend her family against trolls, she has been Managing the superstar and being her mother as well. Although Beyonce has not said anything; she is not one to respond to trolls anyway, her mother is coming in full force to support her.
Knowles called the people who made the skin-bleaching claims “ignorant” and “self-hating” in a harsh Instagram post. She emphasized that BeyoncĂ©’s skin tone has always varied because of things like cosmetics and lighting, and that the problematic video was just an example of bad lighting.
Knowles wrote, “How sad that some of her own people harbor jealousy and hate to further this stupid narrative.” “Of course, she was an ALIEN Superstar, wearing silver hair to go with her silver dress like a fashion statement clown!”
“I have had enough of people making fun of her. Every accomplishment she makes while working here is a testament to her skill, work ethic, and fortitude. These depressed tiny haters are emerging from the shadows. You encourage racism, sexism, jealousy, and double standards. I’m tired of you losers, instead of honoring a sister or choosing to ignore her if you don’t like her. I’m tired of this, even though I know she will be mad at me for doing it.

Knowles continued by expressing her admiration for BeyoncĂ©’s ancestry and her defiance of conventional notions of beauty. “This girl keeps to herself. Whenever she can, she lends a helping hand to others. She always supports and elevates black women and the underdog.
BeyoncĂ©’s allegations have spurred a broader discussion about colorism and the social pressures Black women experience to adhere to Eurocentric ideals of beauty.
