Lady Gaga has announced her engagement to her French boyfriend, Michael Polansky.
The 38-year-old pop star revealed the news during a chat with French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal at the Paris Olympics over the weekend. In a TikTok video posted on Sunday, Attal shared a clip of Gaga introducing Polansky and calling him her “fiancé.”
Gaga and Polansky first made headlines in 2019 when they were seen together at a New Year’s Eve party in Las Vegas. They confirmed their relationship a few months later on Instagram.
Reports in early 2023 suggested they had split for a while, but by August, they were back together. They celebrated Gaga’s 38th birthday in March at Giorgio Baldi in California with friends.
While performing at the Paris Olympics opening ceremony, Gaga mentioned that even though she isn’t French, she has always felt a strong connection to French culture and music.
