The family of the late Nollywood actor, Amaechi Muonago, has announced his burial date.
A funeral poster issued by the deceased family revealed that the actor would be buried in his hometown in Ugamuma village, Obosi, situated in the Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State.
In a Facebook post, his cousin, Tony One Week wrote: “It’s official. Rest in peace Aguiyi Obosi. You fought a good fight but God knows all. You wrote your name in the book of time. Adieu great cousin.” Muonagor died on Sunday, March 24 at 67 after suffering from protracted kidney-related issues, diabetes and stroke.
Meanwhile, according to the burial poster, the burial ceremony will begin on Thursday, June 20, with a service of songs at his residence by 6 pm. On Friday, June 21, his body would depart the Crown Hospital Mortuary for a lying-in-state at his residence before the burial service.
It also stated that the thanksgiving service will hold at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Ugamuma Obosi, on Sunday, June 23, 2024.
