Cardi B Threatens Legal Action After False CPS Report Leads to Late-Night Home Visit

—

American rapper Cardi B is not taking any chances when it comes to her family’s safety.

The rapper revealed that she’s planning to take legal action after an alarming prank call led to an unexpected visit from Child Protective Services (CPS).

In an Instagram Live session on October 22, 2024, Cardi B expressed her outrage after CPS and law enforcement showed up at her home following a false report claiming her children were being abused.

The incident took place late at night, and understandably, Cardi was both shocked and furious.

Are you serious?” she vented during the live stream. “Someone made a prank call, sending CPS to my gated mansion at 11 p.m. while my kids were sleeping, accusing me of beating them. Are you f***ing dumb?

Cardi, who is a mother of three, called the prank not just irresponsible, but downright disturbing. She also pointed out the added concern of being a minority in her neighborhood, making the situation feel even more intrusive.

This is where people cross the line. Prank calls involving my kids? That’s not funny at all. I’m the only person of color in my neighborhood, and for CPS and the police to show up at my house because of some anonymous call? It’s just wrong,” she said.

But Cardi isn’t planning to let this slide. She vowed to take swift action, stating she’ll be suing both CPS and the person behind the prank. To track down the culprit, she’s already planning to hire the best private investigator in the country.

I’m going to get to the bottom of this first thing in the morning,” she promised. “Nobody messes with my kids or my motherhood. My kids have never been touched or hit. I don’t care how annoying they can be, I would never lay a hand on them.”

With her children’s well-being on the line, Cardi B made it clear: she’s not backing down.
