Businesses work together to improve digital payments

—

To improve the payment processes, Interswitch has announced working with OPay via its Interswitch Payment Gateway (IPG).

Through this integration, OPay customers may easily utilize their OPay wallet to make direct payments for goods and services on merchant websites.

According to a statement from Interswitch, the goal of this strategic partnership is to redefine the digital payment experience by giving customers a safe and easy way to make payments.

OPay’s addition to the Interswitch Payment Gateway’s (IPG) checkout payment choices offers a new level of user ease, completing the list of available payment methods that already include card, Quickteller, transfer, QR, and USSD.

Muyiwa Asagba, Managing Director of Digital Commerce and Merchant Acquiring (Paymate), Interswitch, underlined the importance of collaboration in promoting the expansion of digital payments in the nation.

“At Interswitch, our mission is to support a more dynamic and inclusive digital payment ecosystem by responding to the changing needs of merchants and customers. We are thrilled to offer consumers and retailers a new level of payment simplicity with our most recent partnership with OPay. We are excited to see the good effects this relationship will have on the whole payment ecosystem, as it underscores our commitment to bringing innovations that improve the digital payment experience,” he said.
