BREAKING: Ex-Minister receives 72-hour ultimatum from EFCC to surrender

—

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has rejected the request made by former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development, Sadiya Umar-Farouq, to postpone her interrogation.

She expressed concerns about her health and sought a three-week extension through her legal representative to participate in the EFCC’s investigation.

Even after she pleaded on health grounds, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is steadfast in its position regarding the pressing need for her participation in the ongoing investigation.

The agency remains unwavering in insisting that her involvement is crucial, despite the health-related appeal she has made.
