 James Onanefe Ibori, former Delta State governor, has expressed sadness over the confiscation of over £100 million from him.  A judge in London on Friday ordered the confiscation of 101.5 million pounds ($130.34 million) from the former governor who was convicted of fraud and money laundering in London in 2012.   Police in Lagos on Thursday arraigned a woman, Charity Iroakazi, 28, at an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court for allegedly having 36 berets with Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) insignia on them in her possession.   The defendant, an artisan who resides at 14 Nurudeen St., Ojo, Lagos, is being tried for conspiracy and unlawful possession of IPOB berets, NAN reports. Ecobank vows to appeal judgement in favour of Honeywell  Ecobank Nigeria Limited has said it will appeal a judgement by the Federal High Court in Lagos, presided over by Hon.  The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) says it is investigating a shooting incident which involved it’s officers during the raid of a drug joint at Okpanam area of Asaba, Delta state, which resulted in the death of a child.
