Tension as Nigeria records 747 new cases of COVID-19

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has disclosed that the nation has recorded new 747 cases of COVID-19.

According to the data released by NCDC, the nation’s epicenter of the pandemic, Lagos had 488 while Akwa Ibom had the second highest figures, 121.

Others are Oyo – 29, Rivers-25, Ogun-15, FCT-13, Kaduna-13, Kwara-11, Ekiti-10, Osun-10, Edo-6, Abia-3, Anambra-2, and Plateau-1.

The data brings the total of confirmed cases in the nation to 176,011. So far, 165,208 discharged while 2,167 have died from the virus in the nation.
