Sean Dyche Sacked as Everton Manager

Everton has announced that Senior Men’s First Team Manager Sean Dyche has been sacked by the club following a poor campaign in the ongoing 2024/25 Premier League season.

“Everton Football Club can confirm that Sean Dyche has been relieved of his duties as Senior Men’s First Team Manager with immediate effect.”

The club further confirmed that his backroom staff has also left with him:

“Ian Woan, Steve Stone, Mark Howard, and Billy Mercer have also left the club.”

While the club begins its search for a new manager, it has also stated that the Under-18 coach will handle the senior team temporarily:

“The process to appoint a new manager is underway, and an update will be provided in due course.

Under-18s Head Coach Leighton Baines and Club Captain Seamus Coleman will take charge of first-team affairs on an interim basis.”

After 20 Premier League games, Everton is just a point above the relegation zone, securing only 17 points.
