Plateau: Appeal Court judgment Unacceptable – Shehu Sani

Former Senator of the federal republic of Nigeria Sen. Shehu Sani has described as daylight robbery, the recent Appeal Court judgment that sacked the Plateau state governor, Mutfwang Caleb Mannesseh on Sunday the 19TH November, 2023.

The outspoken politician stated this in his social media handle on Sunday. Sani, who described the justice Elfrieda Williams Dawodu led ruling as unacceptable, unfortunate and condemnable decried the level at which the judiciary was dispensing justice, revealing that the bench was becoming the coffin of democracy.

It would be recalled that the Appeal Court sitting in Abuja had on Sunday 19TH November, 2023, in a judgment nullified the election of the Peoples’ Democracy Party Mutfwang Caleb Manesseh declaring All Progressive Congress’ Nentawe Yilwatda winner of the March 28th governorship election in Plateau State.
