Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo on Thursday submitted a post-COVID-19 Economic Sustainability Plan to President Muhammadu Buhari.
The document contains actions and articulates strategies that will help mitigate the impact of the pandemic on the country’s economy.
Osinbajo, writing on Twitter afterwards, said: “Today (yesterday), on behalf of the ESC, I presented the Economic Sustainability Plan to President @MBuhari.
“The theme “Bouncing Back” is a reflection of our beliefs that this plan will avert the impending economic headwinds and convert this crisis to victory for the Nigerian people.”
Osinbajo is the leader of the COVID-19 Economic Sustainability Committee.
The Economic Sustainability Plan when assented by Buhari will help strengthen businesses and enable them to thrive amid the disruptions caused by COVID-19.
